“Moonlight Ripples” unfolds through a sequence of horizontal bands that suggest shifting moments of light and reflection. Built from a luminous base that gradually darkens toward the surface, the painting carries a sense of time layered rather than measured — a slow accumulation in which earlier traces remain faintly visible beneath the more recent ones.
The thin veils of paint create subtle transitions, allowing glimpses of brightness to filter through the darker passages. This technique evokes the way light travels across distances and surfaces, altering slightly with each encounter.
