Every artwork is prepared with the same attention and care that goes into its creation. All pieces are original, one-of-a-kind works. Most are painted on canvas, stretched on wooden frames, and delivered “ready to hang,” complete with hooks and rope. Works on 300g Arches paper are shipped unframed to ensure safe transit.
How Paintings Are Packed
Large and medium sized paintings on canvas are shipped in custom-built wooden crates designed to protect the work from impact, pressure, moisture, and vibration during transport. Smaller works (such as pieces from the EXIT or Mindscapes MINI series) and works on paper are packed in reinforced cardboard boxes or envelopes.
Each crate is prepared in several layers:
- The painting is wrapped in archival tissue paper
- Followed by layers of bubble wrap
- A final layer of shrink wrap provides moisture protection
- Corners and edges are secured with foam tubing
- The wrapped painting is then placed inside the custom-built crate
- The lid is screwed into place, allowing easy opening on arrival
This combination of materials ensures stability and maximum protection throughout the journey.
Documentation & Finishing Touches
- Works on canvas are usually signed on the reverse, works on paper on the front.
- Marked with title and year
- Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity
Whether the work travels within Europe or overseas, it is shipped with tracking and insurance for peace of mind.
