About the work:
“Relic III” forms part of the Future Relics series, which imagines how fragments of our present might be read by a distant future. The work centres on a framework of stark white lines, a structure that hints at containment or constraint, yet whose original purpose remains ambiguous — a trace of an unfamiliar past preserved without explanation.
On top of this lattice, a vivid blue-turquoise symbol introduces a different register, as if another signal or layer of meaning were intersecting with the relic. Its clarity contrasts with the austerity of the white forms, suggesting a dialogue between what survives, and what becomes undecipherable over time.
Rather than pointing to a single narrative, “Relic III” asks how the objects and systems of today might one day be interpreted, or misread, through the eyes of future observers.

An abstract artwork titled 'Gavage' featuring sharp, white, cage-like lines over a vibrant blue-turquoise background. The white lines are geometric and intersect, creating a grid-like pattern across the composition.
