Passage

About the work:
“Passage” is structured around a dense field of overlapping forms that suggest movement through a compressed space. Angular blocks and linear fragments intersect with more organic shapes, creating a sense of pressure and directional flow across the surface. The composition feels neither fully open nor fully enclosed, but suspended in a state of transition.
The layered construction allows forms to appear, partially dissolve, and re-emerge elsewhere, as if passing through different perceptual registers. This instability reflects the central concern of the Anima series: how meaning, orientation, and agency shift when the familiar logic of space is unsettled. Rather than describing a fixed moment, the painting holds a continuous state of crossing — a passage without a clearly defined point of arrival.
