The Surface Collective Valencia has officially been established, bringing together the artistic talents of Greg Bryce, Michael Schmeja, and J. Kesin. This collective aims to present engaging, dynamic exhibitions that contribute to contemporary art discourse through thematic and conceptual collaboration.
Our latest project explores the idea of idiosyncratic expression and style as a medium in its own right, by removing the variables of format and materials.
Over several months, each artist independently created a body of work using identical mediums, from the palette to the specific brands of paint and paper.
