Shifting Shores

About the work:
“Shifting Shores,” from the Mediterranean Visions series, plays with the idea of changing boundaries and fluid terrain. Bold, intersecting forms establish a sense of structure, while the softer, textured passages around them introduce movement and quiet instability — a dialogue between what feels anchored and what is in flux.
Earthy tones and muted contrasts carry the impression of coastal light shifting across uneven ground. The composition moves between solidity and dissolution, reflecting how coastal landscapes continually adjust themselves, sometimes subtly, sometimes abruptly.
