“Peg Dance” takes its cue from moments when movement and perception feel tightly controlled. The upright forms recall simple wooden pegs arranged in a fixed choreography, their solid tops suggesting a viewpoint confined to what sits at the surface. Beneath them, the layered shapes and shifting tones reveal a more intricate world that remains only partly visible.
The contrast between these levels hints at the distance between what is presented and what lies underneath — how clarity can be shaped by limitation, and how deeper structures continue to operate out of sight. Peg Dance captures this tension through rhythm, layering, and the uneasy balance between what is shown and what is concealed.
