Regression

About the work:
Regression reworks the structural and emotional vocabulary of From the Ashes into a more distilled abstraction. The identifiable motifs dissolve into a network of shifting fields, as if the memory of the original image has been worn down to its essential rhythms.
What remains are echoes: directional forces, flickers of heat, traces of figures reduced to movement rather than form. The composition feels like a step backward through the layers — not toward clarity, but toward the raw energy beneath representation.
In this state of reduction, Regression becomes less about a particular place and more about the lingering sensation of upheaval: the way conflict imprints itself even when specific images fade.
