“Gateway” centres on a dominant vertical division that divides the canvas into two converging zones. This threshold-like structure suggests a point of passage — a shift from one state to another — reinforced by atmospheric transitions in colour and movement. Gestural marks activate the space around the central axis, hinting at unseen activity beyond the frame.
